As a director, editor, researcher and story consultant, I bring all of these, along with warmth, empathy, and a safe space, to those I work and collaborate with.

Drawing on over 12 years of experience across working with different communities, independent film, NGO advocacy, and research media, I partner with directors, institutions, and independent producers to deliver stories that matter—on time, within budget, and with deep narrative focus.     • Creative Editing: I have worked for 12 years as an editor in fiction, documentary and institutional videos. Every project is unique in its storytelling, but the (he)art of being an editor is the ability to translate and support a director's vision, ensuring it reaches their audience. Whether a feature or a short, I act as a safe space to brainstorm, translate, and transform your vision into the final cut.

    • Archive & Data Architecture: I can assist teams in designing custom database categorisation systems (in Excel and edit software) to map, code, and rapidly retrieve footage from multi-terabyte visual archives. I am also experienced in executing motion graphics, colour grading, sound mixing, multi-platform media formatting, and accurate captioning workflows for smaller non-commercial projects.

    • Editing Consultant: Sometimes the director/editor get stuck and needs to take a step back before diving back in. I can help you rethink an edit, get messy in a safe space and find the heart of your film again.

    • Translating Academic & Policy Research: Converting complex academic data, climate policy, and social justice research into engaging, asynchronous digital media and educational packages.

    • Production & Financial Logistics: Managing multi-site international shoot logistics, cross-border travel, team workflows (Trello, Asana, G-Suite), and production budgets in Xero or FreeAgent.

    • Grant Writing & Compliance: Authoring institutional funding applications, drafting risk assessments, and managing media clearance, licensing, and GDPR data compliance.

I speak four languages—English, Portuguese, French, and Italian—and manage finances and logistics with tools like Xero and FreeAgent, as well as multi-site shoots.
