ABOUT
I am a non-fiction filmmaker, editor, and story consultant with over 12 years of experience crafting deeply human, resonant documentary projects. Rooted in a background in Social Anthropology from the London School of Economics and holding an MA in Film Directing with Distinction, my work sits at the intersection of social justice, personal narrative, and visual art. Whether self-shooting in high-stakes environments, shaping multi-terabyte narrative arcs in post-production, or helping directors navigate complex thematic terrain, I bring an ethical, nuanced, and highly structured approach to every stage of the filmmaking process.
ETHICS, My APPROACH
My approach to filmmaking is informed by years of working alongside NGOs, research institutes, and vulnerable communities across Latin America and the UK. From documenting refugee journeys and military coups to exploring personal trauma, mental health, and climate justice, I prioritize non-extractive, collaborative frameworks that build deep, enduring trust with contributors. Filmmaking is a medium for investigation and healing, which is why I embed duty-of-care practices, trauma-informed communication, and mental health support directly into my production and post-production workflows. As a multilingual professional fluent in English, Portuguese, French, and Italian, I bridge cultural and academic contexts to translate complex human experiences into compelling visual cinema.
