Concept & Cultural Context

Released exclusively with Rolling Stone Brasil to mark International Women's Day, Fumaça is an intimate visual reflection on affection, nostalgia, and trans identity in contemporary Brazil. Following the band over a two-day journey in Rio de Janeiro, the video captures the raw energy, backstage intimacy, and emotional buildup to their landmark performance at the iconic venue Circo Voador.

Editorial & Visual Approach

  • Textured Nostalgia (Super 8 Aesthetic): To mirror the song’s themes of longing and memory, I utilized a warm Super 8 texture. The grainy, organic feel moves away from purely "vintage" tropes, creating a sense of cherished memory and emotional intimacy.
